Looking for a place to eat?

This is a list of restaurants my friends and I have eaten at over the years - most of them are located around the Los Angeles area but I've begun to post places in my new locale - New York (mostly Long Island and NYC areas as well as some places in Upstate New York). Some may not be the same anymore but some of them are, so take a chance and a risk. :) If you've been to some of these, feel free to add your own comments. One Pico at Shutters on the Beach

Location: Santa Monica. Type of food: Assorted

A wonderful, quiet, expensive place to eat right on the beach. Food is delicious and service is great, as one might expect. Romantic at night with a fireplace and dimmed lights. A good place to take someone on a special occasion if you're willing to fork over a little bit more from your pocketbook. :) Price range: $12-?. Rating: 4 loaves.
